COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

 

ALL APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19 LOCKDOWN:

If you had an appointment that was cancelled due to Covid-19 lockdown, we will be giving you first priority in terms of booking your appointment. Should we miss you, please email us at info@willowkingspa.com immediately.

HIGHER RISK CLIENTS:

If you are a high risk client and or living with one, please raise this concern with our staff members to be placed in a specific time slot.

COVID SURCHARGE:

We have had to implement a temporary surcharge that will be added to all service transactions. This small fee of $4.00 will go towards the additional expenses the business has had to incur to re-open, operate and keep our guests safe.

 

PRECAUTIONS WE ARE TAKING: 

To help maintain a safe place to visit, for both you and our staff, we have made significant changes to our daily procedures and want to inform you of our changes. Safety and sanitation are our main priorities behind these changes.

Things may not look the same as before, but we ensure you will still be receiving the same service, if not better.

  • Our staff will continue their proper hand washing prior to greeting you as well as before and after your service. As recommended by Work Safe BC, all PPE recommendations will be followed including wearing masks and gloves where appropriate during your treatment.

  • During facials or close faceup procedures, staff will be wearing a face shield and a mask.

  • As per BC Health orders, we will be unable to use steam and/or perform extractions during our facials at this time.

  • We will require scheduled appointments for all services and will not be accepting walk-ins at this time.

  • We will no longer be able to offer magazines, handouts, brochures or coffee and tea with your treatments.

  • We will have a plexiglass barrier at our till, and at all manicure stations.

  • We ask that you arrive at your scheduled appointment time and wait outside for our staff members to assist you into the spa.

  • OUR WAITING AREA WILL BE CLOSED: When you arrive at your scheduled appointment time please remain outside (Practice social distancing) until we open the door for you.

  • Hand sanitizer will be readily available for you to use.

  • Please bring a mask with you to wear inside the spa. If you need one, we can provide you one for $2.00

  • Please come to your appointment alone unless we need a guardians’ consent.

  • Our staff will be disinfecting all contact surfaces after each guest using a medical grade cleaner. Including and not limited to; door handles, payment device, nail polishes, washroom handles.

  • We are limiting the amount of staff in at one time and scattering start times to have minimal people within the spa at a time.

  • We will continue to properly disinfect and sterilize all tools used during your treatment

  • We are scheduling extra time between clients to ensure we have optimal time for disinfecting surfaces and extra cleaning.

  • We ask that all product sales be assisted and handled by our staff. We urge you to purchase products from our online store and choose the pickup option and we’ll be in touch to schedule a pickup time that suits you.

            No guests, pets, food or drinks please.

 

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU:

  • Please do not attend your appointment if you feel ill in any way.

  • Please complete your pre-screening via email or verbally over the phone before arriving at your appointment.

  • If you have been in contact with anyone who is ill, please reschedule your appointment.

  • We ask that you wear a mask for your service. Please bring your own to wear or we can provide you a disposable mask for a small fee of $2.00.

  • We will have hand sanitizer readily available and ask that upon arrival you please use hand sanitizer and/or wash your hands upon entering our spa.

  • There will be no cancellation fees at this time.
